The inspiration for Greek Valley Wines came one evening as I was having dinner with members of my fraternity. Feeling celebratory and because no one in our group knew very much about California wines, someone asked the waiter to recommend an extra special bottle.

Also referred to as “Greek letter societies”, their core purpose typically involves development of character, leadership ability, and scholarly or social endeavors. Most of all, they are about friendship. We join these organizations at a time when lifelong friendships are born. Through our experience of belonging to a fraternity or sorority we learn about loyalty, relationships, and community.
